Zeljko Ranogajec has been dubbed as the Joker and the Loch Ness Monster as his secretive gambling operation continues to roll in millions of pounds worth of profit.
The 59-year-old is far from an average bettor, and is said to use a unique ‘rebate’ method to win on races before the horses have even left the stalls.
According to a report in The Scottish Sun, the Australian is worth £333million thanks to the scheme, and is an owner of a flat in the world's most expensive apartment block.
In addition to having a multi-million pound property empire, Ranogajec is said to drive a Lamborghini Aventador which have starting prices of £270,000.
The Mail reported in 2018 that Ranogajec lives a life of incredible luxury, owning an ultra-exclusive One Hyde Park property which is guarded by SAS-trained security 24/7.

Zeljko,pronounced Jelko, is estimated to turn over $1billion a year in his professional gambling operation. Ranogajec was born in Hobart, Australia in 1961, to Croatian immigrants, and originally studied to become a lawyer at the University of Tasmania. He then transferred to New South Wales, but was distracted by the lure of casinos.
Back in 2018, report adds that the family have lived in several different cities including Milan, Melbourne and Los Angeles. Dining with Heston Blumenthal among others.

Ranogajec explained his business model before Federal Court in 2008, saying: “It's very simple… if you bet $100 and lost $5, but you get a 10 per cent rebate, you still make 5 per cent.
“You always win. I'm telling you that, if you bet very large, it's a pari-mutuel pool, you depreciate it so far that you end up getting under fair odds.
“If you fix something at $8, you get six, but if you get a rebate that puts you into the positive.
“We're called Bankroll Punters Club, that's what we call ourselves. Customers that bet on our level number in the handful in the world.”
